From the Poetry Page: I Don't Wanna Sleep (hillbilly haiku)

Then she smiles at me,
Eases into my arms and hugs me.
Eyes sparkling she kisses me sweetly.
Squeezing me extra long.
Breasts against me.

She turns and steps away,
And stretches her arms out to another,
Kissing very deeply she's against him!
Then turns, evil grin!
Moaning sexual tension.

I don't want to sleep,
I don't want to dream no more.

I cross over her body,
Lying under me I enter her warmth.
Her hot lips find my nipple.
Grasping both breasts firmly.

I am watching through glass
On her hands and knees he enters,
Pushing to him, looking toward me.
My heart bleeds deeply
Swallowing back tears.

I don't want to sleep,
I don't want to dream no more.

I come to her smiling,
My hand slides to her breast, kissing.
"Love you, Baby." Love you, too."
"Do you need anything?"
"Just your love."

No more to say,
"Because I am living with him now."
"You said you loved only me!"
 "I never loved you!
You never existed!"

I don't want to sleep,
I don't want to dream no more.

Don't make me sleep,
No! I'll be fine staying awake!

No vivid renewals of love lost!
Won't wake up crying, Just coffee, please.

I don't want to sleep,
I don't want to dream no more.
